Nice work.

Only thing that distracted me a little was the shadow effect on Ron at the 1 min 49 sec mark, but that's probably me being nit-picky.

The whole presentation was brilliant, your art style is fab.

Short but sweet, and excellent voice work! The character designs are pretty ace too :D

Awesome work! :)

I freaking love the design and animation style of this animation :D Awesome work!

You have some good animation skills, unfortunately the story lets it down a bit.

My main issue with it is over reliance on other people’s characters (Which for some reason sends people into a frenzied "Hah!! I recognise that!! 5 STARS *****" rampage. The plot also failed to answer some basic questions, such as who is the main character, what is his job, what is his motivation? Why should we care and quite importantly why are asteroids hitting the city? (though the answer to that one might rely on knowledge of one of the characters you lifted from another franchise that I didn’t recognise/already know the backstory of)

Anyway back to my main issue of including Intellectual properties you don't own - You milked zero comedy potential out of the characters you chose to... lampoon. The inclusion of Batman for example (Which I’m willing to let it slide in most cases) is filled with comedy potential yet he did nothing funny or interesting other than pull a few derp faces.
He took up a large amount of screen time but his inclusion was in the end illogical and served no humour function other than saying "Hey Dark Knight Rises was a thing last year!!! You liked it didn’t you! PleaseLikeUs". You had no jokes arising from the Batman character other than having him do little more than the usual "Stand on a roof top looking moody”. At least make him wear a funny hat, give him some Mr T jewellery – Anything to make him interesting.

Also lens flare... so much lens flare.

But yeah, the animation side of things was pretty groovy. The writing just needs work (Unless you’re actually aiming for the “Lolz BanezGayUberRandom:D” audience in that case well done you succeeded)

Excellent work as usual, i'm looking forward to seeing the next one. (Was the future fashion a reference to Zardoz?)

CorneliusToots responds:

It was indeed a reference to Zardoz! :)

Dinosaurs are one of those magical ingredients that can make anything awesome :D

The art style was very nice to look at and the voice work was excellent.

There was a couple of tweaks to some bits that could have added more to the animation (Maybe adding flames to the dinosaurs where they were in contact with the lava and making the cape more swooshy)

But It'd be a bit rubbish of me to be nit picky because at the end of the day I was entertained for 6 minutes,

(I liked the "BC" gag at the end)

Awesome job dude, I look forward to seeing your next animation.

I liked it

I thought the writing was funny and voice acting was pretty good.

The drawings served their purpose, but that's something that improves with time and each Flash.

Looking forward to seeing part III :D

Tom

mecagir responds:

thanks! I'm glad you liked it and yeah I really am improving my early work was pretty bad

Loved it

The voice work, design and animation were all awesome. I like these kind of quick fire gags' animations.

Looking forward to the next one =D

Tom

(It seems a little redundant saying it's similar to the asdfmovie series seeing as you've actually worked on it)

Tom Kerin: Voice actor, animator, pizza maker and shenaniganist. The views expressed are my own, I apologise.
